My name is Emily and I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor based in Devon. I am currently offering online sessions via Teams and can provide my availability upon contact. 

​

I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and am fully insured and hold an enhanced DBS. As a member of the BACP, I adhere to the Ethical Framework as a commitment to working professionally and safely with my clients. 

​

I work with clients who are 18 and over and I can support you in many areas. Counselling is a process that is very individual and because of that, my approach is tailored to accommodate you. As the client, I want to ensure you know and feel in control of the direction we take and how best this fits for you. 

​

An area that I have specialised in whilst training and since qualifying has been within the LGBTQ+ community. I have a personal connection to the community and feel passionate about the support I can offer. No one should ever feel excluded within society and this personal and professional belief connects me to improving the wellbeing of those who have not previously had the space to feel respected. 

​

Within my training, I completed my placement hours with Intercom Trust in Exeter. The support this charity offers is invaluable - which is why I still actively choose to work with them now.

I undertake frequent CPD to ensure that I maintain my professional skills and knowledge. This is a key part of my work that allows me to remain current and competent.
